AS Roma striker Bojan Krkic says he is positively surprised by the progress of Ghanaian midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng following his performances for AC Milan.
AC Milan played out to a goalless draw to Barcelona in the first leg of the quater final of the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday.
The Barcelona striker says he is impressed with Boateng’s progress following his association with Ghana at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
“He has got character. He is one of the players who has surprised me,” Krkic said.
“Physically he is an animal, but he can also play with both feet and he is a powerful player.
“If you add this to his character you will say he is a very successful player. He links the midfield and attack beautifully.”
Boateng’s fortunes changed since playing for Ghana at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
He was a player for relegated English side Portsmouth before playing for the Black Stars at the World Cup.
Subsequently he got the big-money move to AC Milan.
