AC Milan loanee Sulley Muntari believes that his side can still reclaim their Serie A crown.
The Rossoneri find themselves only one point behind leaders Juventus with six matches remaining in the competition, and Muntari is hopeful that the unbeaten Turin-based club will yet drop points.
"I am confident in what may happen to us until the end of the league," Muntari told Milan Channel.
"The final matches are always hard for everyone."
Milan lost their place at the Serie A summit after a shock defeat to Fiorentina at San Siro, but the Ghanaian insists the team is not dwelling on the result.
"That defeat belongs to the past," Muntari noted. "Now we must think carefully about our upcoming match against Genoa.
"We have realised what we need to do to win these matches."
Muntari, who is on loan at Milan from Inter, has made nine appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring two goals in the process.
