Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has lauded Sulley Muntaris leadership qualities after Fridays 7-0 mammoth win over Lesotho in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Muntari, in the absence of John Mensah, skippered a newly-look Black Stars who began their quest for a third successive World Cup finals appearance in devastating fashion.
The 27-year-old led by example by scoring the opener and also set up Adiyiahs brace before being replaced by debutant Christian Atsu.
Agyemang-Badu-who plays for Italian Serie A outfit Udinese-described the AC Milan enforcer as a fantastic player.
He is a fantastic player and he also exhibited good leadership qualities in the game, Agyemang-Badu told MTNFootball.com
Im proud to play with him. He gave us support and encouragement through the game.
