Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has likened the Black Stars to Spanish giants Barcelona after Friday’s 7-0 annihilation of Lesotho in a World Cup qualifier.
Ghana outclassed their guests with nice passing style before knocking them cold with violent combinations.
“I think the possession was fantastic. We were playing our own game and we didn’t allow them to play their own game and we are playing like Barcelona now,” the Udinese ace said.
“We have to continue like this. We have to stop the celebrations and concentrate on Zambia.”
Stand-in captain Sulley Muntari opened the scoring before a brace each from Dominic Adiyiah and Jordan Ayew made it 5-0.
With five minutes left, debutants Jerry Akaminko and Christian Atsu netted to record Ghana’s biggest win in a competitive match.
Ghana’s next game is against Zambia on June 9 at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
