Ghanaian young midfielder Daniel Kofi Agyei is ready to push Juve Stabia to the Seria A before going back to his parent club Fiorentina at the end of the season.
“Everything is cool here with me and my new team mates,” he told Goal.com Ghana. “I am expecting a good season and hopefully I can help propel the team to Seria A before I go back to Fiorentina.”
The 20-year-old midfielder who captained the Fiorentina youth team to win the Copa Italia and the Super Cup last season is on a season long loan with The Wasps.
He was recently named as the most decorated young footballer in Italy having won awards including best player in the prestigious Citta di Aco tournament in 2009, best player in the Nero Rocco Youth Tournament also in 2009, best midfielder in the Italian Primavera league division 2010-2011, and best player in the Vignola cup 2010.
The midfield dynamo who was trained at Mandela colts club, Adabraka Hearts Babies and Bechem United signed for Fiorentina in 2007 and he is owned by renowned Ghanaian agent Oliver Arthur.
Agyei made his Seria A debut for the Violet way back in May 16, 2010 in a match against Bari when he came on as a substitute in the 48th minute for Marco Donadel and was part of last year’s Ghana Under-20 setup.
