Liberty Professionals remain winless in the 2012/2013 Premier League after playing out a barren draw with Ashantigold on Sunday at the Sly Tetteh Stadium, Dansoman.
The match was balanced with both sides having their fair share of proceedings with attacking midfielder Louis Agyemang stealing the headlines with a superb performance.
Both sides failed to make the most of the scoring opportunities that came their way whilst goalies Daniel Agyei and Fatau Dauda of Liberty and Ashantigold proved why they are the safest pair of hands for their respective clubs.
Hosts Liberty got off well but it was the visitors whose dominance from the half-hour mark with the likes of David Telfer, Agyemang and striker Yakubu Mohammed that led to scary moments for the rearguard. After a barren first half, the two sides yet again failed to take advantage of the chances that came their way, ensuring that the game ended without a winner.
Liberty are still without a win the three-week old premiership after a 1-1 draw with King Faisal and a 0-2 to newly promoted Amidaus Professionals in their previous games.
