French Ligue 2 leaders AS Monaco have expressed interest in signing AC Milan star Kevin-Prince Boateng in January, Ghanasoccernet.com has learnt.
Boateng has been linked with a move away from the San Siro with Bayern Munich and Manchester United all mentioned as likely destinations.
However former Ligue 1 campaigners Monaco, who are managed by Claudio Ranieri, are preparing a 13 million Euro bid for the retired Ghana international as they appear on course for Ligue 2 promotion.
But it is unclear whether the 25-year-old will be interested in joining a second-tier side.
Inter Milan are also looking at a possibility of a swap deal with Dutch international Wesley Sneijder for the former German youth international.
