Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has returned to Arsenal after seeing out his loan stint with English Npower Championship side Charlton Athletic.
The 20-year-old was farmed out to the Addicks until January 3 in a bid to regain full fitness after spending close to eight months on the sidelines.
The hard-tackling midfielder made five starts and one substitute appearance while at the Valley.
Arsene boss Arsene Wenger is weighing the option of offering the Gunners Academy graduate a new deal as his current contract runs out in the summer.
Frimpong will be hoping to gatecrash the Arsenal team squad and secure a regular place at the Emirates.
