Bashir Hayford has agreed a two- year deal with Ashanti gold, just moments after resigning from Medeama, GHANAsoccernet.com understands
The former Asante Kotoko trainer reportedly quit the Mauves and Yellows on Tuesday after two seasons at the club.
Hayford is believed to have been unhappy with the attitude of the home supporters towards him and therefore decided to quit before the start of the second round.
Hayford�s decision will shock many of the club�s teeming followers ater guiding them to the top of the Premier League table in the first half of the season.
Hayford is reported to have signed the dotted lines on a two-year deal and will take charge of the side during the second round of the League on February 20.
