Ghana and Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu has urged his fellow team mates to put behind them the victory over Cape Verde and focused more on their clash in the semi-finals against Burkina Faso coming Wednesday in the on-going 2013 AFCON.
He believes the most significant thing now is the recover their energy to face the battle ahead of them.
“The most important thing is we won a game and qualify to the semi-finals, we are happy but we have to recover the energy we lost..We have to be well concentrated, go to the drawing board and fill the lapses so we come out very well against Burkina,” he said.
Speaking to journalists in South Africa, the midfielder is very optimistic Ghana will come out victorious at the end of the AFCON 2013.
“I am hundred percent sure we (Black Star) will go to the finals and is possible to win the cup. The competition is very keen compared to last year…you don’t have to underrate any team…. the so call underdogs can cause upsets so who ever we meet we have to prepare very well,” he said.
