The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has arrived in South Africa to lend support to Ghana’s Black Stars, who face off with the Stallions of Burkina Faso in the 2013 African Nations Cup semifinal tonight.
The Asante kingdom overlord promised to visit and support the Black Stars in South Africa when he visited the team in camp ahead of Ghana’s 7-0 thrashing of Lesotho in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in Kumasi.
He left Kumasi yesterday morning and has arrived in South Africa.
The Asantehene is scheduled to visit the Black Stars at their team hotel in Nelspruit but will not attend the semifinal match this evening due to some official assignments.
He will however be present for the final if Ghana beats Burkina Faso tonight.
