Accra Hearts of Oak beat Ebusua Dwarfs by a lone goal in the 28th week league game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Hearts scored the only goal of the match in the 30th minute through Mahatma Otoo, who moved into the defence of Dwarfs, picked a through pass from Gilbert Fiamenyo to chip in the ball, with keeper Foli Adade failing to provide an answer.
Dwarfs struggled to level up before the close of the half but failed to overcome the defence of Hearts.
On resumption, Hearts dominated proceedings but failed to increase the tally as Fiamenyo, Otoo and substitute Ashietey Ollenu squandered some decent chances to leave the score unchanged.
Hearts will however remain 7th on the table with 43 points, despite the win, whilst Dwarfs have dropped a step down from fourth position.
