Midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah remains a doubt for Ghana's FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan on Friday night in Omdurman.
The Juventus ace has picked up a muscle injury and must pass a late fitness test before he is confirmed in the starting line-up.
Asamoah is one of Ghana's key players after helping his club to win the Italian Serie A for the second successive time.
"The slight worry is about Kwadwo Asamoah," Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah said.
"He is just recovering from a muscle injury problem so I asked him to slow down a bit in training.
"It could be that, psychologically, he thinks the injury could erupt again.
"He is doing well but he is not 100 per cent fit. If we are unable to use him for the Sudan game I am sure by the time we get to Lesotho he could come in nicely."
Ghana need a win against the Falcons of Jediane to keep them on course in the qualifiers.
