Emmanuel Tagoe is set to fight in his first oversees bout of the Asamoah Gyan-owned Baby Jet Promotions against Gerado Robles On August 10.
The bout is confirmed to take place at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, California following the acquisition of work permits by the Ghanaian boxer and his corner men.
Tagoe was initially scheduled to fight in the USA in June but delays in acquiring a work permit saw the bout shifted to early August.
The �Game Boy� camp have now been given the all-clear to make the trip to the USA for the fight that is expected to be stepping stone for the WBA International and WBO Africa super-featherweight champion towards challenging for a world title.
Tagoe, it will be recalled beat Filipino Ronald Pontillas in April in a decision that stirred a lot of controversy in Accra.
The Game Boy now has the opportunity to silence all his doubters by thoroughly beating his American opponent on August 10 in California.
Tagoe is the flagship boxer for the Baby Jets Promotions ďż˝ a boxing syndicate owned by Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan.
