Marseille winger Andre Ayew has hit back at suggestions that there are no clubs interested in him insisting there will be plenty of offers he decides to leave the French club.
The talented youngster says the opportunity to play in England would appeal if a move is made despite being happy at Marseille.
The Ghana international says he is happy at Marseille but insists he would land clubs if he announces his intention to leave the French giants. The 23-year-old has spent his entire career to date on the books at Stade Velodrome. He insists he is in no rush to leave, but is ruling nothing out as the summer transfer window intensifies.
Critics of Ayew claim there are no clubs interested in him after rumours of English clubs like Liverpool seeking his signature emerged.
Some in the French media accused the agent of Ayew trying to drum up interest in his client by pushing the media with such rumours.Ayew says there is interest in his services and has made it clear that the Premier League would be his preferred destination if a deal can be agreed.
He hit back at L’Equipe when he was told no clubs are interested in him. “No offers at the moment? Who told you that no great clubs are interested me? Is the summer market already over?,” Ayew asked the magazine reporter. “It is not my intention to leave Marseille. I am happy here. But if I say I want to leave, there will be offers.
“I have always loved England, but I am in no rush.
“You can dream of playing at a higher level, especially at my age, but the most important thing is to carry on improving and become a better player in your position.”
