Ghana's 2014 FIFA U-17 Womens World Cup qualifier was called off on Sunday after their opponents, DR Congo failed to turn up for the first-round game.
The match referee was forced to call-off of the fixture after the Black Maidens arrived at the Accra Sports Stadium for the scheduled first leg qualifier only to realize that the Congolese did not show up.
Ghana are pushing for a final round place where six teams will play for the three qualifying slots available for next year's World Cup in Costa Rica.
