Olympique Marseille will have Ghanaian steamroller Andre Ayew back from injury in mid-February despite earlier reports he could be back at an earlier date.
The 23-year-old went under the knife due to an injury he suffered while in action for Ghana in the 2014 World Cup qualifying play-off against Egypt in November.
Andre was expected to return earlier than the stipulated date but fresh reports from France have confirmed the son of the African soccer legend will not be back until mid-February.
Marseilles domestic campaign has gone off track and would been the Ghanaian talisman back from injury but they will have to wait until February.
Les Olympians were hoping Ayew would be ready for the Coupe de France quarter-final clash with rivals Olympique Lyon but he will not be available.
