Ghana winger Frank Acheampong has successfully undergone surgery on his left ear, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 20-year-old had to be taken to hospital on Friday to clinically remove a swell on his left ear.
Acheampong has been with the medical situation since his time in Thailand with Buriram United but had it removed after helping Anderlecht manage a slim 1-0 win over Zulte-Waregem on Thursday.
The former King Faisal playmaker is expected to spend close to four weeks on the sidelines before returning to training.
