Head Coach of Berekum Chelsea Tony Lokko has told Ghana Sports that the club doesnt deserve to be where they are on the league log.
Chelsea are 14th with 17 points and have a continental campaign ahead.
Tony Lokko is confident they will pull a surprise in February, when the league resumes.
A [CAF] Champions League club and the respect this club has gained in the domestic front, that place you see us is not our usual place but circumstances have caused that. Were determined to turn things round in the Second Round for which I believe by the grace of God things will turn out to be the best, he said in an interview with Ghana Sports.
Lokko would have to go past a tough AshantiGold side in their opener in the second round. Chelsea pulled a surprise by holding AshGold to a goalless draw in their week 15 fixture at the Len Clay Stadium.
Ghana Sports can confirm that all is not well with Berekum Chelsea but the playing body and the technical team are bent on turning things around for the club as they prepare for both Africa and the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
