The Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) has dropped five top referees from officiating in the Ghana Premier League with immediate effect, Ghanasportsonline.com can exclusively reveal.
Referees Charles Nii Tagoe, Theresa Bremansu, Awal Mohammed, Yakubu Liman have all been disqualified from taking charge in the ongoing premier league matches after they failed the routine fitness tests.
Solomon Mordey, however has been shown the exit on technical grounds.
The fitness test forms part of routine checks by the Referees Association and the Ghana FA to ascertain the physical and intellectual fitness of match officials before the start of a major competition like the Premier League.
