Former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has rubbished media reports that he has been contacted by Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah to be his adviser for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Ghanasportsonline can confirm.

Reports in the media had claimed the Ghana coach has made contacts with his ex-boss Rajevac to play an advisory role for the Black Stars team at the 2014 World Cup but the Serb claims all those stories are fabricated and the perpetrators are looking for ways to satisfy and achieve a set agenda.

The 60-year-old who jilted Ghana for Qatar after an impressive World Cup outing 4 years ago has been rumoured to be interested in joining the Ghana team to Brazil after been sighted at the Ghana-Montenegro friendly but 'Milo' says he only came there to meet his friends in the GFA and the other players in the team he still have 'warm' relationships with.

In an exclusive interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM through his interpreter Nena Glisic, Milo lauded Kwasi Appiah saying that his former assistant is the 'right man' for the job, insisting he is not interested in Black Stars job.

"You know Montenegro is very close to Serbia so we just come around there when we know that Ghana will play there in the friendly match".

"I'm very close to the coach and many of these players and the GFA, everybody was nice during my stay in Ghana so I need to get to their place and talk and keep our relationship and see the coach training and tactics and whatever I can see and help through my capacity".

"At no point did I speak to the coach (Kwasi Appiah) about any role or scout, something, I just go to see the team and not any other thing", He confirmed.

"We still have nice relationship with people in Ghana, journalists, players, the people and everyone one but we didn't not talk about my job or Ghana World Cup role, no".

When further asked about whether he will love the idea of joining Ghana's contingent to the World Cup in Brazil, Milovan confirmed he can only come to Ghana team and offer any help if only Kwasi Appiah asks him to help but at the moment, nothing has been said and Kwasi Appiah has not hinted him about any move.

"Possibility, It can only be possible if and only if Kwasi told me yes I need you to help me this or that but he never tell me about help or professional work".

The 60-year-old was axed in 2011 as the coach of the Qatar national team, six months of taking over after losing to lowly-rated India and Vietnam.
