Ghana Football Association's (GFA) President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, insists government has not approved budget for Ghana's participation at the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
He said although the GFA had submitted budget proposals to the government, the Federation was yet to receive any approval.
Nobody in Ghana has seen the approved budget for the World Cup; therefore the FA cannot confirm or make reference to it because when it is approved, it is first communicated to the Sports Minister and then to the General Secretary of the Federation and this has not been done".
Nyantakyi said so when he paid a working visit to the offices of the Western Regional Football Secretariat at Gyandu Park at Sekondi on Wednesday.
He said that it was beyond his control to disclose when the budget would be approved by government
