Ghana's men's U-17 National team, the Black Starlets are in Windhoek, Namibia to play in a four nation competition set to run from April 18 to 21 at the Swakopmund Sports Complex.
Coach Paa Kwasi Fabins team is expected to face stiff opposition from hosts Namibia, South Africa and German side Westphalia during the one week long tourney.
This is one of the measures that we have taken to ensure that the boys are exposed before the main competition, the qualifiers or the tournament proper. Wilfred Osei Parma, the Vice Chairman of the Black Starlets Management Committee, told Power FM.
He added that, What we realized last time was that, we only had one game against South Africa before we went for the African tourney and it affected the boys in terms of their psychological make-up.
