The Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Ibrahim Sannie Daara says the association looks forward to the Commission of enquiry set up to look into the campaign of the Black Stars at the 2014 World Cup.
Government did not give the GFA any money so the football association is ready for any enquiry which I feel is a good thing to do so the truth can be uncovered, he said on Monday, August 4 when the Commission was inaugurated to begin its work.
"The members who form up the commission are learned people and we all welcome the idea. In principle, were not against any investigation or enquiry, Sannie added.
According to the GFA's spokesperson, given the composition of the commission a clean job will be done as mandated by the president.
We believe as the Sports Minister has said, the findings will be based on matters relating to Ghanas participation at the world stage and not to do with anything that will call for any interference with FIFA,"
He indicated that the GFA is yet to reply FIFA over the terms of reference of the Commission.
