The coach of the senior national team the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah has ruled out the possibility of him resigning from his post.
Appiah has come under a barrage of attacks following the Stars' poor showing against the cranes of Uganda, in which Ghana could only secure a 1-1 draw through an Andre Ayew penalty.
This comes after Ghana experienced it's worst ever World Cup showing in the 2014 World Cup, amid reports of player misconduct and technical frailties.
After the poor performance on Saturday, the post-match press conference was moved to Sunday for security reasons.
At the press conference, the former Ghana full-back said he cant resign because he would not be able to pay the compensation to the Ghana Football Association.
"I will not resign because if I do I have to pay the FA [compensation]. I haven't thought of resigning." he said.
