Zambia U20 captain Lubambo Musonda could miss his side’s crucial tie against Ghana at the ongoing Africa Youth Championships after the 20-year-old suffered an ankle injury in the Junior Chipolopolo’s 1-0 defeat to Mali last Monday.
The speedster was substituted in the 21st minute after receiving a horror tackle from an opponent.
The Armenia-based winger is likely to miss Thursday’s game at the Stage Carolina Faye after failing to partake in the team’s training session on Tuesday.
The FC Ulisses winger is expected to pass a late fitness test in other to feature in his side’s second Group game against the Black Satellites.
The situation will serve as a huge blow for coach Hector Chilombo who could missing his key man in Thursday’s crucial game against a well composed Black Satellites side.
