Head Trainer of Accra Hearts of Oak Herbert Addo has taken his side’s heavy loss to Esperance in good faith.
The coach said after the game that the North African side were superior in all aspects, on the day.
But he hinted that the game had served as a good platform for the Phobians, as they strive to attain higher heights.
“The Esperance players capitalized on our mistakes. They were superior so we cannot complain. They gave us a good game, and it is an experience for my boys.
“Esperance are professionals and we are learning to be professionals. My players are very young, but they will go far,” coach Addo said.
Hearts, who until last Sunday’s heavy loss had performed well in away games, are expected home today.
They will need five unanswered goals to make it to the Group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup when they host Esperance in Accra on June 7 for the return leg.
