Ghana’s local Black Stars will faceMadagascar at the quarter-finals of the ongoing COSAFA Cup tournament in South Africa.
Madagascar set a date with the Black Stars after topping Group B with 7 points hence qualifying on a better goal difference over Swaziland who also secured same after three games.
The two side’s managed a 1-1 stalemate in the Group decider match played at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Friday with Madagascar qualifying on a superior goal difference after scoring five goals as against the four scored by Swaziland.
Maxwell Konadu’s side who arrived on Friday will take on their Madagascan counterparts on Monday in the first quarter-final match at the Moruleng Stadium at exactly 17:00 GMT.
The local Black Stars as participating in the 2015 edition of the COSAFA Cup tournament as guest.
The tournament also serves as a build-up for the team ahead of their upcoming CHAN qualifiers.
