Esperance Sportive de Tunis has offered a two-year contract extension to Ghanaian defender Harrison Afful. Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm.
The Blood and Gold are looking forward in extending the stay of the Ghanaian international who have been linked with a move away from the Club.
Afful is however expected to take an early decision on the new offer from his employers.
“Management has proposed a two-year contract that would link both parties until June 2017. It is our belief that the final and definitive answer will not take that long because we also need to make a decision.” An official of the Club stated.
The 28-year-old former Asante Kotoko full-back is reported have received offers from some European Clubs as well as fellow African side Al Ahly.
Afful joined the Tunisian Champions in 2008 and has been considered one of the most successful Ghanaian players in the North African country having won four Tunisian League titles, one CAF Champions League and two CAF Super Cup trophies.
