Asante Kotoko could terminate the contract of striker Emmanuel Clottey. Club operation manager George Kennedy has confirmed.
Clottey have failed to make any competitive appearance for the Porcupine Warriors after joining from Tunisian Club Esperance.
The 27-year-old only came on as a second half substitution in Kotokos 0-0 stalemate with WAFA in the first round of the League.
An appeal by Esperance to report the Ghanaian international to FIFA over wrongful termination of contract has halted the strikers chances of playing for the Ghanaian Champions.
The Ghanaian giants are therefore contemplating on ending the contract of the former Berekum Chelsea attacker.
It is likely we will terminate his contract for non-performance, George Kennedy said.
He has been unable to perform for us because of this issue so we can terminate his contract for non-performance.
