The donation was made on Wednesday night after the female team visited the Black Stars camp for interaction.
Gyan was made aware of the difficult financial circumstances of the Black Queens during the interactions.
The Shanghai SIPG showing his usual benevolence surprised the team instantly with a $10,000 cash donation.
Gyan further urged the team to put behind their worries and focus on achieving success at the 2015 All Africa Games in Congo.
Asamoah Gyan has been in Congo with his Black Stars team for close to five days now on international assignment.
Ghana engaged Congo in an international friendly on Tuesday which the Black Stars won with a 3-2 score line.
The game was played to mark the official opening of newly built Kintele Stadium.
