Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has lauded his former Club Ashanti Gold for winning the 2014/15 Ghana Premier League.
The miners confirmed their title triumph after beating WAFA 1-0 in match-day 29 of the First Capital plus Premier League.
AshGold per the result recorded on Sunday have been declared Champions of this season�s League with a game to spare hence winning their fourth domestic League title.
Mensah who came through the ranks of the Ashanti Gold youth team has hailed the Club for the excellent achievement.
�Congratulations to my former club AshGold on winning their first league title in 19 years. Ashantigold Aboakesie!!.,� he posted on his official twitter handle.
The 25-year -old featured for the Ghanaian Premier League side from 2004-2008 before moving to join South African outfit Free state stars.
