The Board of Directors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to determine the appeal put before it by the club before Wednesday, September 9.
The ultimatum was contained in a press statement issued by the clubs board chairman, Paul Adu-Gyamfi, after an emergency meeting in Kumasi last Saturday.
The Kotoko board noted that, resolving the matter brought before the FAs Appeals Committee by the middle of the week would be helpful and help clear all doubts about the veiled manipulation of the results of the remaining league matches and also guarantee the legitimacy of the First Capital Plus Premier League.
While reposing confidence in the FAs appellate body to live up to its responsibilities, the Kotoko board noted that, the club reserved the right to pursue the matter to its logical end using other legitimate means available to it.
Kotoko reserves the right in the supreme interest of Ghana football to take all necessary action to protect the sanctity of the league and the interest of all clubs, the statement added.
