The West African giants have announced their squad ahead of the double tie against Comoros with the return of Asamoah Gyan and a debut call up to Samuel Tetteh.

Ghana have named a strong 23-man squad for the upcoming double header against Comoros in the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.

The Black Stars are set to face Les Coelecantes on November 13 in the first leg at the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh before hosting them at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi in the return encounter four days later.

Making a return to the squad is captain Asamoah Gyan, who missed Ghana’s last two matches against Rwanda and Canada in August and September as he was allowed time by coach Avram Grant to concentrate on his recovery after sustaining injury

Also included is Swansea City’s in-form midfielder Andre Ayew and brother Jordan Ayew, who scored two goals in his last two English Premier League matches.

Conspicuously missing from the roster is Malmo FF’s Enock Adu Kofi, despite his consistent performance in the Uefa Champions League, while Portland Timbers goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey is still out even after announcing his return from a self-imposed sabbatical.

In his abscence, Wa All Stars shot-stopper Richard Ofori will fill the void alongside Fatau Dauda and Razak Brimah.

Wafa youngster Samuel Tetteh has been handed a debut call-up after impressing at the 2015 Fifa Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand last June as well as with the home-based Black Stars under assistant coach Maxwell Konadu.

Ghana have qualified to the last three Fifa World Cup editions after making their debut in 2006.

Full Black Stars list:
