Black Stars captain and all-time top scorer, Asamoah Gyan has given the Black Queens $30,000 for their gold winning feat at the All Africa Games at his grand 30th birthday celebration at his plush mansion christened ‘LA Basilica De Baby Jet’.
This was to honour a promise Gyan made to queens when he met them in Brazaville as the Stars went to play a friendly game against Congo’s national football team to commission their newly constructed 60,000 capacity stadium.
The Shanghai SIPG lynchpin gave the Queens $10,000 in Congo to boost their morale prior to the All Africa games when he realized the girls were ill motivated extrinsically.
Gyan promised to surprise three institutions during his 30th birthday celebration and the Queens have been the first to benefit from his philanthropic gestures.
