Management member of Accra Hearts of Oak Alhaji Akanbi has rubbished claims that the Vice President of Ghana Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur is dashing out a whopping 100,000 Ghana Cedi to the club for the purchase of big name players.
Reports emerged on Monday that the Vice President, who is a shareholder in the club had dashed out 100k for the purchases of big name players as the current board chairman was believed to have said there is no money.
According to Alhaji Akanbi, the report is totally false and must not be taken serious as it only qualifies for a fabricated story.
The management member admitted that the Vice President is a shareholder in the club but insisted that there has not been any such attempt.
“The story is totally untrue and only qualifies to be called a fabricated story. The Board does not know of it and so is the management,” Akanbi said in an interview with ghanasoccernet.com.
