The Ghana FA chief claims the body has been conscientious in performing its duties as expected.

The president of Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, says his outfit will soon release reports of the body’s various engagements.

His comments come in the wake of a Transparency International report which named Ghana FA among the 87 poorly managed football associations in the world.

Per the global anti-corruption body’s findings, the GFA scored zero in all four categories of the Football Governance League Table comprising financial reports, organisation charter, annual activity report and code of conducts/ethics.

“We can give you activity reports for the past 10 years, accounts for the past 10 years, organisational structure for the past 10 years and code of ethics,” Nyantakyi told Asempah FM.

“They are all there. We have done no wrong. We will respond.

“We will put all our documents out for all to see.”

In the survey conducted between October and November, Transparency International rated all 209 Fifa member football associations.

A portion of the report read: “Eighty one per cent of FAs have no financial records publicly available, 21 per cent of FAs have no websites, 85 per cent of FAs publish no activity accounts of what they do.”

According to the GFA communications director Ibrahim Sannie Daara, the Transparency International report lacks credibility and accuracy.
