John Terry, captain of English Premiership side Chelsea has ignored Michael Essien in his all Chelsea XI. There was no place for the Ghanaian midfielder.
The Blues’ captain named his best 11 players who have featured for the club in the past and present. The likes of Michel Ballack and David Luiz also did not make the list.
The Ghanaian midfielder was solidly behind John Terry during his racial abuse allegation in 2011, but it appears Essien is not a player he enjoyed playing with.
Bayern Munich right wing Arjen Robben was named on Terry’s list.
The others are Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, Ashley Cole, Ricardo Carvalho, Claude Makelele and John Terry himself who found a place in the side.
The rest are Frank Lampard, Gianfranco Zola, Didier Drogba and Eden Hazard.
