Mr. Gerald Ankrah, Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, has resigned from his post.
Ankrah, who has been under constant pressure from fans and some high ranking officials of the club, tendered his resignation to the Board Chairman of the Club, Togbe Afede.
He has subsequently handed over to the Administrative Manager Hackman Aidoo.
According to information GNA Sports, Mr. Ankrah seem not to be happy with recent happenings in the club having supervised the secretariat over the last five months without salaries.
The source indicated that, Mr. Ankrah is also not happy with general working conditions at the secretariat as well as developments in the club.
There are indications that, Mr. Ankrah is unimpressed with certain keys decisions taken in recent times such as formation of a strategic committee, where he serves as the secretary.
