Black stars head coach Avram Grant, has challenged Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman to recover from the mistake that led to his substitution at half-time of Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Southampton on Saturday.
The player lost concentration after a wrong header allowed Shane Long to race through on goal to put Southampton ahead in the 42nd minute.
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink admitted that Rahman’s error was the primary reason for his very harsh substitution before Cesc Fabregas and stand-in captain BranislavIvanovic scored to complete the day for the blues.
According to him, the player is motivated ahead of the weekend game, even if he does not get a starting place he will be okay to play in the other Chelsea games.
Baba Rahman, have failed to command a starting line up since joining Chelsea in the transfer window.
Reports suggests that, Baba Rahman is determined to stay in the premier league and fight on for the blues.
