Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed made history on Wednesday after becoming the first player to score a hat-trick for the team in the Ghana Premier League.
Yahaya wrote his name in the Club’s history books when he notched three goals to help the Dormaa-based Club defeat Sekondi Hasaacas 4-0 at the Dormaa Park.
The former Kotoko ace thus becomes the first player at the Club to score three goals in a single match since they qualified to the elite division in 2009.
The goals ensured the ex-Amidaus talisman join the scorers chart with four goals in eight matches.
The power attacker returned to the domestic top-flight after ending his deal with Libyan Club Ittihad Tripoli.
The team (Aduana) which was tipped as one of the favorite to win this season’s Ghana Premier League is on the resurgent having started the season on a poor note.
Coach Cioba Aristica side will take on Medeama SC on Sunday.
Aduana Stars are now 9th on the League table with 10 points.
