Assistant coach of the Black Stars of Ghana has kicked against continual accusations netted out to interim coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei.
He described the accusations as an “ungrateful act” considering the status of the Porcupine Warriors before he took over.
Kotoko have not won any matches since the resumption of the second round of the Ghana Premier League, but the Konadu said: “the blame should not apportion to Michael Osei only.”
“I also think Michael Osei should not take the blame alone, but at this moment if things are happening this way then your name will be mentioned because he is the one leading the team.”
Konadu, who was formerly in charge of Kotoko before taking up the role of assistant coach of the Black Stars, was however, of the view that Michael Osei needs a technical director to assist him. That, I think, will be good for him. That will help the team and help Michael Osei himself.”
“Looking at the performance of the team in the second round, things have not gone too well so I think appointing a technical director will help,” he added.
