Asante Kotoko will face perennial rivals Hearts of Oak in the semi-final of the GHALCA G6 competition after defeating WA All Stars 2-0 on Monday.
The Ghana Premier League record holders secured their second straight victory in the preseason competition.
Two second half goals from winger Emmanuel Gyamfi and striker Obed Owusu handed the Porcupine Warriors a win over the reigning Ghana Premier League Champions.
Gyamfi connected a pass from Amos Frimpong to give Kotoko the lead 10 minutes into the second half.
Obed Owusu’s powerful free kick gave the Reds a two-goal lead after 71 minutes.
Kotoko thus set a clash with Hearts of Oak in the semi-finals on Sunday at Babayara Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak finished second in Group B behind Aduana Stars who will take on WA All Stars in the other semi-final clash.
