Ghana suffered a second straight defeat at the ongoing Africa Beach Soccer Championship after losing 2-0 to Egypt on Wednesday evening.
The Black Sharks hopes of reaching the World Cup for the first time was dashed following several controversial decisions by match officials which resulted in the team’s painful defeat to their North African counterparts.
Ghana after losing 5-0 in their opening match against Cote d’ Ivoire was hoping to make amends with a win over the Egyptian counterparts.
The team will now take on host Nigeria in the finals game on today.
