The Black Stars will also take on the Ethiopia in the qualifying round of Cameroon 2019 according to draws made by Caf on Thursday.
Ghana have been handed a relatively easy group in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers where they will meet Kenya, Sierra Leone and Ethiopia in Group F following the draws held by the Confederation of African Football in Libreville, Gabon on Thursday.
The Black Stars will begin their campaign for qualifying to Cameroon 2019 in June 2017.
According to Caf, the winners of each group will join the host country in the Final Tournament as well as the best 3 runner-ups in all 12 Groups.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars will hope to end their 35-year trophy drought when Gabon 2017 kicks off this weekend.
Ghana have been drawn in the same group with Egypt, Uganda and Mali. They will kick off their campaign against Uganda on January 17 in Port Gentil.
