French Coach Willy Sagnol wanted a monthly salary of $70,000 to become the head Coach of the Black Stars.
The former French International was part of a three-man shortlist who were vying for the post.
However reports indicate that the huge demands of the ex-Bordeaux manager ward off interest from the Ghana Football Association who were not ready to cough out $70,000 as monthly salary for the Coach.
Former Ghana U23 Coach Kwesi Appiah was reassigned as head Coach of the Black Stars after emerging top of the list of interviewees.
Sagnol was hoping to land himself his first job in Africa after managing the French U21 team.
