The Head Coach of Aduana Stars, Yusif Abubakar has attributed the team’s inability to snatch the three maximum points in their game against Kotoko on complacency on the part of the players.
“We should have claimed the maximum points and overtake current league leaders WAFA and go top of the league”.
"We felt we could beat Kotoko easily. We don't need to draw at this crucial stage of the competition. I see our draw as a loss", he added.
Coach Abubakar told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) Sports in a post-match interview at Dormaa- Ahenkro that his side’s goalless draw game with Kotoko was disappointing.
He said the goalless encounter was a wake-up call to the club to work harder to keep their premiership title hopes alive.
"We are not demoralised by the draw. It has given us another work to do", he added.
Coach Abubakar said his players failed to break the defensive barrier, as Kotoko’s defense succeeded in frustrating his strikers.
