Alanyaspor midfielder Isaac Sackey has been named in Ghana's squad after a purple-patch of form in the Turkish top-flight.
The 24-year-old has been given another opportunity to revive his international after a not too impressive debut against Mexico last year and also against USA where he was a second half substitute.
But after making 25 Turkish Super Lig appearances including 24 starts this season, the former Liberty Professionals managed to convince the technical team.
Sackey is among 20 players listed to face Japan and Iceland in pre-World Cup friendly matches.
