Black Satellites of Ghana have beaten Burkina Faso in the opening game of the ongoing Under 20 Africa Cup of Nations in Niger.
The Satellites took the lead in the first-half through striker Daniel Lomotey after some spectacular performance by the team.
Daniel Lomotey again doubled the tally after a defensive blunder from the Burkinabes in the second half of the match.
Ghana has won the tournament three times and Coach Cobblah is hopeful his boys will produce a much better game in this competition than their recent past to earn a slot for the World Cup slated for Poland later in the year.
The Group B match was scheduled to take place in the city of Maradi yesterday (Sunday) evening, but organisers reported to the teams that there was a fault with the lightning system.
