Former Ghana international John Paintsil reveals has revealed that he has changed the name of his newly acquired club to Stallions FC.
Paintsil officially bought Wa All Stars from banned former Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi and has decided to re-brand the team.
The former Fulham defender hinted that all the necessary procedures have been done in relations to the change of name.
“The name of the club has been changed to Stallions FC. This name was changed by special resolution… with the approval of the registry of companies on 28th February 2019. It was incorporated… as a company limited by guarantee…” Paintsil tweeted.
It is not yet known whether the team will still be based in Wa or will be moved to a different location.
